What do I have to do to become licensed and certified by the state of South Carolina?

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Complete 1000 hours of work as a registered technician with limited responsibilities.
  • Complete a board-approved technician training course.
